POSITION SUMMARY:
The Rigel Territory Business Manager appropriately promotes Tavalisse® (fostamatinib) in chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (cITP) and REZLIDHIA® (olutasidenib) in relapsed or refractory mIDH1 Acute Myeloid Leukemia (R/R mIDH1 AML to maximize new patient starts within an assigned territory. This role achieves results through focused execution, cross-functional collaboration, and commitment to positively impacting patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include gaining appropriate access and delivering effective, compliant sales interactions with cITP prescribers and AML specialists in the community setting. Exceptional business acumen and the ability to develop and execute clear, comprehensive business plans across brands are fundamental to success.
The Territory Business Manager serves as the primary field “quarterback,” collaborating across Rigel teams to anticipate and address customer and patient needs. This is a field-based role requiring frequent in-person customer engagement throughout the assigned territory. Strong communication skills, proven account management experience, and established relationships with target hematology/oncology physicians are essential. Sacramento Territory geography includes Sacramento area, Reno, north to Redding, southern Oregon (Klamath Falls, Medford, Grants Pass), south to Walnut Creek, Central Valley including Fresno.
Salary Range: $174,000 to $215,000

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing; vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
· WORK ENVIRONMENT: Moderate noise level. This is a field-based position requiring regular local travel by automobile throughout the assigned territory.
